The 6th Staff Representative Conference of the 8th Session of the Shanghai Institute of Instruments was successfully held

The sixth plenary session of the eighth workers' Congress of Shangyi Institute was held in the multi-functional hall of the auxiliary building of the new building of the Institute at 9:30 a.m. on January 20, 2017. The Congress was attended by 25 formal representatives, with 23 present and 7 alternate representatives in attendance. At the meeting, the representatives listened to the report on the work of the year 2016 and the key points of the work in 2017 by Comrade Teng Huaqiang, the director of the Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute, the report on the work of the year 2016 and the key points of the work in 2017 by Comrade Wu Qiuju, the chairman of the trade union, and the report on the examination of the trade union funds of the Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute in 2016 by Comrade Li Hongzhen, the staff representative, and listened to the use of the administrative reception funds of the institute.

Shangyi Institute provides financial aid to students from poor families

On the morning of August 25th, our party's deputy secretary, Comrade Wu Qiuju, and others, came to Pingliang Street Ping San Community Committee, and signed the "Aid Agreement" with the community student, Liu Xingru. In April of this year, our firm participated in the street's "Public Welfare Service I Take the Lead ● People's Wishes I Will Fulfill" activity, took on and completed the wish of Liu Xingru, a student in Ping San Community Committee. In August, when we learned that Liu Xingru had been admitted to a key high school in the city with excellent grades, our firm took the initiative to express our willingness to help her complete her high school education through financial assistance, and hope that she can repay society with solid knowledge in the future.

On the eve of "July 1st", the Party Committee of our institute held a "Two Studies, One Action" learning exchange meeting and a "Two Outstanding, One Advanced" commendation meeting. Comrade Teng Huaqiang, the Party Secretary, and Comrade Wu Qiuju, the Deputy Party Secretary, along with two Party members, shared their experiences in learning the Party Constitution and regulations. The representative of the first branch talked about the Party's wholehearted service to the people from the history of the Party, and thus concluded that "as long as we keep the people in our hearts, there is no enemy in the world".

Recently, in the "Two Studies, One Action" study and education, the Party Committee of Shanghai Institute of Instrument and Meter organized Party members and youth league members to visit the birthplace of the Chinese Communist Party - South Lake in Jiaxing. Looking at the red boat moored in the lake, the hearts are surging, and the thoughts are endless... The calm South Lake and the ordinary small boat gave birth to the great Chinese Communist Party, which has changed the fate of China and rewritten the pattern of world history. In the South Lake Revolutionary Memorial Hall, listening to the introduction of the guide, the Party members and youth league members paused from time to time to look carefully at the pictures and physical objects, and once again approached the modern history of China... Yes, the birth of the Chinese Communist Party is the inevitable choice of history and the choice of the people.
