Nothing can stop the arrival of spring. When the sun of March shines on the earth and the prevention and control of the epidemic has achieved positive results, we welcome the 110th International Women's Day on March 8th. This Women's Day falls during the epidemic. In response to the government's call and in line with the principle of both commemorative significance and minimizing crowded activities, this event advocates for online participation. To this end, the Women's Committee of the Institute of Metrology and the Brain Prevention Institute jointly organized a DIY activity on the theme of "Anti-epidemic, Women in Action". The female employees were required to complete the design, material selection, and sewing independently, taking into account environmental protection, creativity, and practicality in making epidemic prevention masks. A total of 29 works were collected for this activity, all of which were ingeniously conceived and skillfully made. Ultimately, the best creativity award, the best practicality award, the best popularity award, the skillful hand award, and the novel appearance award were selected through online voting. The purpose of this activity is to advocate a healthy and self-disciplined lifestyle, not only allowing female employees to experience the real DIY journey but also contributing positively to the prevention and control of the epidemic.
