At the meeting, the participants watched the corporate promotional video of Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute Co., Ltd., "The Road to Advance into a New Era". The company's leadership team reported on the company profile, future development plan and the progress of the construction of the G60 comprehensive test and inspection platform at the Songjiang base. The participants discussed how the Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute can deepen reforms and further strengthen, expand and improve the main responsibilities and main business of the enterprise. 

Fang Qin said that after the company system reform, the Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute, as a state-owned enterprise of science and technology, should focus on its main responsibilities and main business, strengthen the research and development of applied technologies, accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and strive to improve the economic benefits of the enterprise. 

Liu Xie pointed out that the Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute should further clarify the strategic development plan and goals of the enterprise. On this basis, it should strengthen the construction of the talent team, continuously improve the talent introduction and incentive mechanism, and provide solid talent guarantee for the company's deepening reform and development.

After listening to the report, Sun Zhenrong affirmed the achievements made by the Shanghai Instrument Institute in the fields of Chinese character information processing and air force radar intelligence processing systems in the 60 years since its establishment. He required that in the new development stage after the company system reform, the Shanghai Instrument Institute should first improve its development position and integrate its own development into the construction of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta and the overall situation of the Shanghai International Science and Technology Innovation Center; second, it should broaden its business areas, strengthen exploration in the fields of smart health care and medical equipment, new energy vehicle charging equipment testing, etc., and open up new economic growth points for the company; third, it should strengthen the connection between the district and enterprises, deepen cooperation with relevant functional departments such as the Songjiang District Science and Technology Commission, and accelerate the construction of the G60 comprehensive test and inspection platform of the company's Songjiang base; fourth, it should give full play to the platform efficiency, make good use of the company's existing inspection and testing, standard setting, journal publishing, industry associations and other resources, continuously improve the service capabilities of the professional and technical public service platform, and better empower the scientific and technological innovation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the instrumentation industry. Sun Zhenrong said that the Shanghai Academy of Sciences will continue to support the Shanghai Instrument Institute to achieve high-quality development, and hopes that the company's cadres and employees will carry forward the past and forge ahead, and write a glorious new chapter for the Shanghai Instrument Institute in the new development stage.
