On the afternoon of July 1, Zhou Wenjuan, Vice Chairman of the Zhenjiang CPPCC, and her delegation visited the company to learn about the situation of Dr. Zhi Bingyi, an academician from Zhenjiang and former honorary director of the Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute, and to collect exhibition materials for the "Academician Special Exhibition Area" of the Zhenjiang Hometown Hall, and to listen to the opinions and suggestions on editing and publishing the literary and historical album of academicians from Zhenjiang. Wu Qiujue, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Company, Teng Huaqiang, General Manager, and comrades from relevant departments participated in the investigation.
 
   

At the research symposium, Vice Chairman Zhou Wenjuan and his delegation gave a detailed introduction to the development of Zhenjiang's economic and social undertakings, the collection of exhibition materials for the "Academician Special Exhibition Area" of the Zhenjiang Hometown Hall, and the compilation of the Zhenjiang Academician Literature and History Special Album; they watched the special film "Sixty Years of Passing on the Torch and Advancing into the New Era" to learn more about the development history of the Shanghai Institute of Instruments. Wu Qiujuan, the company's party committee secretary and chairman, introduced to Vice Chairman Zhou Wenjuan the relevant situation of Academician Zhi Bingyi during his work at the Shanghai Institute of Instruments. Afterwards, the participants had an in-depth exchange on how to further strengthen cooperation, inherit and carry forward the spirit of academicians in the new era, inspire future generations to forge ahead, advocate science, pursue innovation, and bravely climb the peak of science and technology.

 


   

After the symposium, Vice Chairman Zhou Wenjuan and her delegation visited the Shanghai Institute of Instrument History Exhibition.
