The Shanghai Institute of Instruments held a mobilization meeting on the theme of "staying true to our original aspiration and keeping our mission firmly in mind"

On the morning of June 14th, the mobilization meeting for the "Never Forget the Initial Heart, Always Keep the Mission" thematic education (hereinafter referred to as the "Thematic Education") of the Institute of Optics was grandly held in the multi-functional hall of the auxiliary building of our institute. The members of the Thematic Education Work Group of the Institute of Optics, Wang Nan and Zhang Yunko, and all the party members of our institute attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Comrade Teng Huaqiang, the director of the institute.

On the morning of June 14th, the mobilization meeting for the "Never Forget the Initial Heart, Always Keep the Mission" thematic education (hereinafter referred to as the "Thematic Education") of the Institute of Optics was grandly held in the multi-functional hall of the auxiliary building of our institute. The members of the Thematic Education Work Group of the Institute of Optics, Wang Nan and Zhang Yunko, and all the party members of our institute attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Comrade Teng Huaqiang, the director of the institute.

At the meeting, Comrade Wu Qiuju, the Party Secretary of our Institute, delivered a mobilization speech on the theme of "Improving Political Positioning and Ensuring the Theme Education Work is Put into Practice". She pointed out that this theme education activity is an urgent need to arm the whole Party with the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era, an urgent need to promote the construction of the Party in the new era, an urgent need to maintain the flesh-and-blood ties between the Party and the people, and an urgent need to achieve the goals determined by the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. All the Party members of our Institute should improve their political positioning and fully understand the great significance of carrying out the theme education. Then, she detailed the goals and tasks and various requirements for our Institute to carry out this theme education from four aspects: learning and education, investigation and research, inspection and problem-solving, and rectification and implementation. Finally, she emphasized the need to strengthen the leadership and organization of this theme education activity, pay attention to overall planning, strengthen publicity and guidance, ensure that the theme education achieves practical results, and let the original aspiration and mission gather a powerful positive energy to promote the new high-quality development of our Institute.

Subsequently, Comrade Wang Nan, a member of the Special Work Group for Thematic Education of the Academy of Science, conveyed the specific requirements of the Party Committee of the Academy of Science for our institute to carry out thematic education activities. She emphasized that we should deeply understand and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era throughout the entire thematic education. The Instrument Institute should combine its own work, proceed from reality, and in the educational activities, Party members and leading cadres should consciously go to the grassroots level, carry out in-depth investigations among the staff and the masses, earnestly identify problems, strictly prohibit engaging in "formalism", going through the motions, and solidly implement all the requirements of thematic education to make thematic education effective and an important measure to promote the construction of Party organizations and the development of the Instrument Institute.

Finally, Comrade Teng Huaqiang announced the successful conclusion of this thematic education mobilization meeting. It is reported that the next step, the Party Committee of the Institute will carry out the work of each stage according to the implementation plan of the thematic education, including learning and exchanges, investigation and research, problem identification, rectification and implementation, and summarizing achievements.
