"CIIE Pioneers·Party Member Action" — Shanghai Institute of Instruments held a themed Party Day event to welcome the CIIE

In order to ensure the smooth convening of the 2018 China International Import Expo in Shanghai, according to the work deployment of the Party and Masses Department of the Institute of Shanghai Science and Technology, on the morning of August 16, the Institute of Shanghai Instrument introduced the theme of the "Expo Pioneer·Party Member Action" Party Day activity.

The party day activities were conducted in the form of a special organizational life meeting and a discussion meeting, with Comrade Wu Qiuju, the Party Secretary, presiding over the meeting. She mentioned that commemorating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening-up and the China International Import Expo are the two major events of the country this year. As Party members, we should understand and care about the world situation, the national situation, and the Party's situation, actively learn, and integrate into the process. We should also play a positive role of Party members in the process of the Import Expo. All Party members watched the promotional video of the Import Expo and the relevant news of the "100-day Sprint, Decisive Victory in the Import Expo" mobilization meeting, and learned the spirit of the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on holding the China International Import Expo and the important speech of Comrade Li Qiang, the Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, at the mobilization meeting.
Party members are urged to study the content of the study and combine it with their own work to carry out discussions and exchanges. Ni Rongliang, director of the Safety and Environmental Protection Department, talked about the current relocation work of the municipal projects involved in our institute. Recently, the typhoon weather has been frequent, and it is essential to do a good job in safety and stability. As a party member, one should strive to cooperate and create a good and harmonious urban appearance and ecological environment, and ensure the success of the import expo. Yao Liang, a member of the Party Committee of the Institute and the deputy director of the Production Department of Haoshun Company, talked about his understanding and ideas of the import expo from the perspective of an ordinary employee and citizen, and also popularized the meaning of the logo and the mascot of this import expo for the party members present. Other party members also expressed that although our institute is not directly involved in the import expo, the holding of the import expo in Shanghai is the trust and entrustment of the central government in Shanghai. As a party member, one should always pay attention to one's own image, closely integrate the welcome of the import expo with daily work, and hope to have the opportunity to understand, participate in, and learn about the import expo, and work together to create a safe and orderly environment for the upcoming 2018 China International Import Expo in Shanghai.
