Shangyi Institute cares for centenarians and sends love and warmth

On the morning of December 10th, the Party Office and the Youth League members of Shangyi Institute visited the Pu'an Elderly Care Home in Pingliang Sub-district to visit and comfort the elderly who are 100 years old or more, who are paired with the institute. They brought comfort items and comfort money, and also sent the elderly the deep care and New Year's blessings of the Party members and Youth League members of Shangyi Institute.

They brought comfort items and comfort money, and also sent the elderly the deep care and New Year's blessings of the Party members and Youth League members of Shangyi Institute.
The members of the Youth League at Shangyi Institute chatted with the elderly to understand their lives in their youth and their current living conditions. Mr. Meng, who is 104 years old, is in good health despite his age, dressed neatly, and full of energy. He does not pick his food and has a very regular lifestyle. His family is harmonious, and his children often come to visit and take care of him. The frequent care and help from social groups such as the streets and Shangyi Institute allow the elderly to spend his later years in peace and care. This transmission of filial piety has deeply moved the members of the Youth League at our institute.
