The Party Committee of Shanghai Instrument Institute held a meeting to celebrate the "July 1st" and commend the epidemic prevention and control

July 1st is the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. On this special day, the Party Committee of Shanghai Instrument Institute held a "July 1st" celebration and epidemic prevention and control commendation exchange meeting. Guided by the spirit of General Secretary Xi's important speech on epidemic prevention and control, this meeting conscientiously studied and implemented the spirit of the 12th Party Congress of Shanghai, reviewed and summarized the current round of epidemic prevention and control work of our institute, commended employees who performed outstandingly in epidemic prevention and control, and further explored the shining points of enterprise employees through sharing and communication with each other, gathered and promoted positive energy, boosted morale, and helped our institute to further do a good job in epidemic prevention and control and promote enterprise reform and development. Wu Qiujue, secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute, presided over the meeting, and all party members, party activists, and employee representatives of the institute participated in the meeting. This meeting was held online.

At the meeting, Party Secretary Wu Qiujue read out the decision of the Party Committee of the Shanghai Institute of Instruments to commend the advanced collectives and five advanced individuals in the fight against the epidemic. Among them are ordinary workers who are "not party members but better than party members" and young party members who went to the front line to support the fight against the epidemic. Afterwards, representatives of the commended advanced collectives and individuals exchanged and shared their battle stories and insights of sticking to their posts, fighting in the community, and fighting on the front line in this round of epidemic prevention and control.

 

Secretary Wu Qiujue pointed out that on June 25, at the 12th Party Congress of Shanghai, Li Qiang, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, announced that the battle to defend Shanghai had been won. Victory is hard-won, and victory belongs to the people. Thousands of retrogrades and volunteers fought day and night on the front line of the fight against the epidemic, supporting the city's "dynamic zero" with one "epidemic-free community" after another, and finally won the victory. She emphasized that at present, the majority of party members and employees of the Shanghai Institute of Instruments should carry forward the service spirit of doing everything possible to serve customers and the spirit of responsibility of moving forward the more difficult it is, further gather the positive energy of the entire institute, devote themselves to the work in the second half of the year, adhere to the scientific research and production and epidemic prevention and control work, and win with both hands, continuously promote reform and development, race against time, ensure supply and reduce losses, and welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Party with outstanding results.

At the end of the meeting, an award ceremony was held. The Party Secretary Wu Qiujue and Director Teng Huaqiang presented certificates of commendation to the advanced collectives and individuals who were commended, and also commended the party members who were awarded the title of Outstanding Party Member Demonstration Post in 2020-2021.
