On May 17, 2019, the third floor lecture hall of the Electrical and Mechanical Building of Shanghai University, the award ceremony of the 4th China Intelligent Instrument and Meter Design Competition "Tang Hui Electronics-Epson" and the opening ceremony of the 5th competition were held grandly.

The China Smart Instrument Design Competition is sponsored by the Chinese Society of Instrument and Meter, the Shanghai Academy of Science, and the Ministry of Education's Professional Teaching Guidance Committee for Instrumental Majors. It is organized by the Chinese Society of Instrument and Meter, the Shanghai Society of Instrument and Meter, and the Shanghai Institute of Instrument and Meter, and sponsored by Shanghai Tang Hui Electronics Co., Ltd., Epson (China) Co., Ltd., and the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Automation of Shanghai University. The "Tang Hui Electronics - Epson" Cup Fourth China Smart Instrument Design Competition has always attracted attention from all sides since its launch, and has also attracted many excellent technical personnel and college students from all over the country to participate enthusiastically, collecting a large number of excellent works. At the same time, the competition invited industry heavyweights to serve as judges, and the works were selected in accordance with the principles of fairness and justice. This competition has selected a total of two first prizes, three second prizes, five third prizes, ten excellent prizes, two most industrialized value prizes, and two most creative prizes after online voting, the preliminary evaluation of the evaluation committee, and the re-evaluation of the expert group.
