The democratic assessment meeting for newly appointed middle-level cadres after their probation period was successfully held


According to the regulations on the selection and employment of new middle-level cadres of the Shanghai Institute of Instrument and Meter, on December 10th, our institute held a democratic assessment meeting for the probation period of new middle-level cadres, assessing the four newly appointed middle-level cadres. The leaders of the institute, the heads of various departments, and the employees of the departments where the assessment objects are located attended the meeting.

Comrade Wu Qiuju, Secretary of the Party Committee, first explained the significance of this democratic assessment. She emphasized that: democratic evaluation is an important part of cadre selection. It can expand the participation in the assessment, enhance the credibility of the cadre assessment, and truly assess the daily work performance of the assessment objects. She hopes that all the participants can cherish their democratic rights, treat this democratic assessment work with a serious and objective attitude, and provide effective basis for selecting good cadres.

Afterwards, the four newly appointed middle-level cadres gave their term reports, presenting their work performance, integrity and self-discipline, shortcomings, and future work plans during their probation period. Following the reports, the participants conducted a democratic evaluation of the probation reports and actual performance of the assessment objects.

Then, the leaders commented on the performance of the four newly appointed middle-level cadres, and hoped that they could demand themselves with the standards of cadres, lead by example, become the "backbone" of the department, and make greater contributions to the development of the institute.
