"Riding on the road, dreams flying" Shanghai Institute of Instruments won the third prize in the Shanghai Academy of Sciences Hengsha Island Cycling Event

On the occasion of the National Day, a group of five from the Institute of Optics went to Hengsha Island to participate in a cycling event organized by the Institute of Science and Technology.

The aim of this event is to delve into the spirit of the 19th National Congress, showcase the healthy and united spirit of the staff and workers of various units, and enrich the sports and cultural life of the staff and workers of various units. The cycling event will be conducted in the form of team competitions, with a knowledge contest on the 19th National Congress set up along the way.

The Shangyi Institute cycling team prepared carefully, and the team members studied the relevant knowledge of the 19th National Congress carefully before the competition. During the competition, the team members demonstrated team spirit, allocated physical strength reasonably, and the team members with better physical strength took the lead respectively. While maintaining the speed of the team, they ensured that no team member was left behind. In the knowledge competition, the team members cooperated well and completed the task successfully. In the end, the cycling team arrived at the finish line together and won the third prize in this cycling activity.

The riders from the Shangyi Institute, who participated in the event, said that they relaxed, strengthened their bodies, and learned knowledge. They honed their willpower, cultivated team spirit, and truly reaped a rich harvest.
