On the afternoon of July 27th, a group of leaders from the Academy of Science, including President Qin Wenbo, came to our institute for research. The research meeting was attended by Ucuijue, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute, Huaqiang Teng, Director of the Institute, and the heads of relevant departments.

At the meeting, Director Tang Huajiang introduced the basic situation of the institute and the overall work situation of the institute this year to Director Qin. Director Qin asked questions from time to time to understand in detail the breakthroughs and bottlenecks in the development process of our institute, affirmed the certain advantages that still exist in our institute after the reform, and emphasized the importance of metrology work for scientific research development, and gave reasonable opinions on some houses that our institute is currently facing due to the demolition problem involved in the municipal planning. After the research meeting, Director Qin inspected our institute on the spot, affirmed it and put forward many valuable opinions. Director Qin expressed the intention to consider including the previous instrument institute into the resource integration of the institute system and promoting the scientific research development of the units in the institute system.
