The "Tang Hui Electronics-Epson" Cup 3rd China Intelligent Instrument Design Competition was grandly held on the Shanghai University campus on December 28, 2017.

At 14:00 on the afternoon of December 28, 2017, the third China Intelligent Instrument Design Competition, sponsored by Tang Hui Electronics - Epson, was held at the campus recruitment meeting of Shanghai University's No.4 teaching building, 101. The organizers of the competition and representatives from all parties explained and shared information about the competition and industry trends with the students.

The whole lecture was warmly received by the students, and the venue was packed.

Professor Fei Minyuan, the chairman of the Shanghai Instrument and Meter Society, the chairman of theEmbedded Instrument and System Technology Branch of the Chinese Instrument and Meter Society, and the dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Shanghai University, explained the origin, characteristics, and significance of the competition to students' scientific research learning and employment, and encouraged the contestants to participate more.

The representative of the competition organizer, the director of the competition organization committee, the vice president of the Shanghai Instrument and Instrument Society, and the director of the Shanghai Instrument and Instrument Research Institute, Teng Huaqiang, detailed the background of the competition, its social significance, the vision of the competition, and the previous award-winning works and other important information. Director Teng affirmed the significant work and achievements of Tang Hui Electronics Company. Finally, the status of the competition as a national-level event recognized by the Ministry of Education was explained, and it was hoped that more social organizations would participate together.

Mr. Zhong Xiaoliang, Senior Application Chip Manager of the IC Business Division of Epson (China) Co., Ltd., explained the profound significance of the competition from three perspectives: innovation and entrepreneurship, the development of enterprises and the electronic information industry, and the mining of talents. In addition, Mr. Zhong gave a detailed introduction to Epson's main products, and he proposed that Epson will provide support and assistance to all contestants in terms of technology and products, spare parts, etc.

Mr. Zhou Yu, Deputy Secretary General of the Internet of Things Working Committee of the Chinese Instrument and Meter Society and General Manager of Shanghai Tang Hui Electronics Co., Ltd., based on his own growth experience, put forward earnest hopes to the vast number of students. He also made a passionate speech from the aspects of the internationalization of the competition, the integration of property rights research, and the business model附加to the competition.

Heshi Wang, who won the second prize in two consecutive competitions, shared his insights on the competition process, preparation of the work, and the gains and employment assistance after the competition.
