"Pay attention to fire protection, keep you and me safe" -- Shanghai Institute of Instruments held the 2017 "119" Fire Protection Publicity Day event

In order to implement the theme of the "119" Fire Safety Publicity Day, on November 9, 2017, the Automation Institute carried out a fire drill activity named "Pay Attention to Fire Safety, Ensure Safety for You and Me". The participants in the drill included the heads of fire safety departments from various departments of the Automation Institute, the heads of fire safety from Haoshun and Xiri companies, volunteer firefighters, new employees, and representatives from some rental units, totaling more than 30 people.

At the beginning of the event, Comrade Ni Rongliang, the director of the Property Safety Management Department, explained to the relevant personnel the methods of fire prevention, the initial fire fighting, emergency escape knowledge, and the operation methods of fire-fighting equipment. Subsequently, through the practical fire-fighting drill, the relevant fire-fighting personnel gained a more intuitive grasp of the use of fire-fighting equipment, thus enhancing the awareness of fire safety and improving the ability to avoid risks.

Comrade Wu Qiuju, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shangyi Institute, was on the spot and gave affirmation to the drill activities. Safe production is the bottom line of enterprise operation, and strengthening the popularization of fire knowledge and improving the fire safety awareness of all staff is also a concrete implementation of the new requirements for safe production put forward by the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
