On the morning of May 18, 2016, the award ceremony of the first "Tang Hui Electronics" Cup Smart Instrument Design Competition, jointly sponsored by the Shanghai Institute of Instrument and Meter, the Shanghai Instrument and Meter Society, Shanghai Tang Hui (Hanhe) Electronics, and Shanghai University, was held at Shanghai University. This competition, against the backdrop of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation", has built a highly professional and innovative design competition platform for young talents in the industry with a passion for innovation and innovation capabilities. To this end, relevant experts in the industry, representatives of enterprises and institutions, supporting media, and students from universities who came to participate in the event all participated in this event.

Competition unit and Vice President of Shanghai Academy of Science, Comrade Yan Guoqiang, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He congratulated the award-winning contestants and the successful holding of the competition, and hoped that enterprises and institutions in the industry would actively participate in the competition platform, produce works and talents, and promote the revitalization of China's instrument and meter industry through independent research and development and innovation. At the meeting, the congratulatory letter from the Chinese Instrument and Meter Society was read, which fully affirmed the achievements and role of the competition and wished the competition a healthy development. The research and development team representatives of Tsinghua University and Shanghai University, which won the first prize, took the stage to introduce the principles and functions of the award-winning works. Comrade Teng Huaqiang, the director of Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute, representing the organizer, expressed gratitude to the experts and consultants who provided technical support, and summarized and reviewed the first competition, looking forward to more and new design works in the second competition.
