In the afternoon of September 22, 2014, the Workshop on Communication and Control for Distributed Networked Systems, sponsored by the Shanghai Instrument and Instrument Society, Shanghai University, and Central Queensland University, was successfully held in the lecture hall on the fifth floor of Building No.3 of the Changjiang Campus of Shanghai University.

This symposium, which focused on the theme of Communication and Control in Distributed Network Systems, received more than 270 manuscripts from 13 countries and regions. All manuscripts went through a strict peer-review process, and after evaluation by experts, 7 manuscripts were recommended by the conference to be presented on-site at the symposium. The authors of the manuscripts also answered questions from the audience and provided detailed explanations on the spot.

After the meeting, the participants continued to have in-depth and serious discussions on the development trends, key technologies and technical difficulties of communication and control distributed network systems, and the atmosphere on the spot was warm, achieving the desired effect.
