On the morning of March 17, Liang Lihua, deputy director of the Organization and Personnel Department of Shanghai Institute of Science and Technology, led a team to Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute to hold a research and exchange meeting for the grassroots party branches of the institute system. Liu Hongyu, secretary of the Party General Branch and chairman of Shanghai Bearing Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd.; Lu Huiyi, secretary of the Party General Branch of Shanghai Experimental Animal Research Center; Ji Tingting, director of the office of Shanghai Computer Software Development Center, as well as party branch secretaries and party cadres of the above-mentioned units participated in the research. The meeting was chaired by Wu Qiujue, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute Co., Ltd.

At the meeting, Wu Qiujue introduced the development history and basic situation of Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute Co., Ltd. She shared and exchanged the development of the party building work of Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute from the perspective of "party building leadership and branch integration", and focused on the company's party committee's efforts to condense the brand building of the party branch and the three party branches under it to create a branch party building work brand. Afterwards, the branch secretaries of the three party branches under Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute reported on the work of each party branch.

Lu Huiyi, secretary of the Party General Branch of Shanghai Experimental Animal Research Center, Liu Hongyu, secretary of the Party General Branch and chairman of Shanghai Bearing Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., Ji Tingting, director of the office of Shanghai Computer Software Technology Development Center, and Gu Jian, a member of the research team, spoke and exchanged views at the meeting.

She said that through this research, she further understood the work progress of the grassroots party branches of the units directly under the Shanghai Academy of Sciences, and provided a platform for mutual learning and exchange for each grassroots party branch; she hoped that through this learning and research activity, the grassroots party branches of each unit could absorb and learn from each other's work experience, learn from each other's strengths and make progress together. She proposed that in 2023, the grassroots party organizations of the units directly under the Shanghai Academy of Sciences should thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party, firmly establish the orientation of all work to the branch, strengthen the sense of responsibility, strengthen the implementation of responsibilities, and effectively strengthen the construction of the grassroots party branch battle fortress, so that the work of the party branch is distinctive, the party cadres are talented, and the party work is effective.
