Shanghai Instrument Institute integrates into the construction of instrumentation industry cluster of G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor

On the afternoon of November 29, the Songjiang District Scientific Instrument Industry Cluster Construction Promotion Conference and the Scientific Instrument and Instrument Industry-University-Research Exchange Conference were held at Songjiang Tus-School Caohejing Science Park. Chen Rong, Deputy District Mayor and Member of the District Government Party Leadership Group, and Yan Guoqiang, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Shanghai Academy of Sciences attended the meeting. More than 30 universities, research institutes, enterprises, industry associations and other units in the field of instrumentation, including Shanghai Institute of Instruments, participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, Teng Huaqiang, general manager of Shanghai Instrument Institute, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on "cooperation in building scientific instruments and instrumentation industry clusters" on behalf of Shanghai Instrument Institute and Songjiang TusPark Caohejing Science Park. He said that Shanghai Instrument Institute will always pay attention to the development of the instrumentation industry in the construction of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, and the two sides will cooperate to build an instrumentation industry cluster in the Songjiang G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor.

Yan Guoqiang, Vice President of Shanghai Academy of Sciences, delivered a speech at the meeting. He said that fully integrating into the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor and the construction of the five western regions is an important manifestation of the Shanghai Academy of Sciences serving the national strategy. The Shanghai Academy of Sciences has multi-field scientific research teams and multi-form scientific and technological resources. The cooperation between the two sides is believed to be able to more efficiently transform the applied scientific and technological achievements of the Shanghai Academy of Sciences and inject new scientific and technological elements and development momentum into the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor.

Chen Rong, deputy mayor of Songjiang District, said in her speech that Songjiang has become an important scientific instrument enterprise cluster in the Yangtze River Delta and even the whole country. Shanghai Academy of Sciences undertakes a large number of major national and local scientific and technological projects, has accumulated a large number of scientific and technological achievements, and has rich scientific and technological innovation resources. The cooperation between Shanghai Academy of Sciences and Songjiang is conducive to the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements and to improving the scientific and technological research and development level of Songjiang enterprises. We warmly congratulate the cooperation between Shanghai Institute of Instruments and Meters and Tus-Caohejing Science Park, and look forward to early results.

At the subsequent scientific instrument and instrumentation industry-university-research docking exchange meeting, 10 units including Shanghai Institute of Computing Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Tianmei Scientific Instrument Co., Ltd. conducted enterprise industry-university-research cooperation exchanges and released enterprise needs.
This conference is a new starting point for Shanghai Institute of Instruments and Meters to carry out the construction of G60 Industrial Technology Innovation Base. In the next stage, under the guidance of the Shanghai Academy of Sciences, the Shanghai Institute of Instrumentation will fully integrate into the construction of the instrumentation industry cluster of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, strengthen cooperation with all parties including Songjiang Tus-Caohejing Science and Technology Park, promote the implementation, incubation and mature application of relevant industrial technological achievements, and make due contributions to the innovative development of the instrumentation industry in the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor.
