"70 Years of Glory, Stride into a New Era" -- Shanghai Institute of Instruments warmly celebrates the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China

The five-star red flags flutter in the wind both inside and outside the institute, and the corridors are decorated with flowers. The colleagues from the Property and Safety Management Department have transformed the entire institute into a festive atmosphere. The Comprehensive Office has also added a five-star red flag to the desk of every staff member in the institute, making every one of them feel proud of the motherland.
In the multi-purpose hall, the comrades of the trade union organized a large-scale staff chorus of "Me and My Country", with passionate and moving songs expressing the deep and inseparable affection of the vast majority of staff at the Institute of Optics for the motherland.
The youth members also took action, using DV cameras to record the words of blessing from every staff member for the birthday of the motherland; the party members wrote down their micro-thoughts and feelings, expressing the great achievements of the Republic over the past 70 years, and expressing their own determination and enthusiasm to "not forget the original intention, remember the mission" and roll up their sleeves to work hard.
The Party and government leaders personally delivered the "Medal of the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China", which was awarded by the state and filled with honor, to the old comrades and old models who have made outstanding contributions to the Republic, and paid tribute to their dedication. Their spirit inspires us to create another glorious chapter for Shanghai Instrument Institute in the new era.
