Shangyi Institute held a lecture on the theme of "Increasing Legal Awareness and Strengthening Integrity Culture"

In order to deeply study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the second and third plenary sessions of the 19th Central Committee, and to implement and promote the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, according to the requirements of the "2019 Shanghai Academy of Science Integrity Culture Theme Activity Month", combined with the "Never Forget the Initial Heart, Always Bear the Mission" theme education, and to further consolidate the construction of the integrity culture of the Institute of Measurement. Under the organization of the Party Committee of the Institute, on the afternoon of July 4, the Institute of Measurement carried out the theme lecture activity of "Enhance Legal Awareness and Strengthen Integrity Culture". This activity specially invited Lawyer Xiao Min, a senior partner of Shanghai Jie Hua Law Firm, the legal consultant of the Institute of Measurement, and all the staff of the Institute participated in this activity.

At the beginning of the event, Xiao Minli first gave a legal lecture. Lawyer Xiao, with his professional legal knowledge and rich professional experience, combined with real cases, popularized the basic knowledge of labor responsibilities, confidentiality awareness, the Contract Law, and the use of scientific and technological means to deal with problems encountered in the course of business development in enterprises. The four aspects of the lecture by Lawyer Xiao popularized the legal knowledge that may be used in the actual work of the staff of our firm. The lecture by Lawyer Xiao was closely related to the actual work of our firm, targeted, and played a very good guiding role in enhancing the legal awareness of the staff of our firm and avoiding possible legal risks in the work.

Then, Comrade Wu Qiujie, the Party Secretary of our Institute, gave a party class on integrity with the theme "Taking the Opportunity of Implementing the 'Four Responsibilities and Coordination' Work Mechanism to Promote the Healthy Development of All Enterprises". Comrade Wu first reported on the general situation of our Institute's "Four Responsibilities and Coordination" inspection, emphasizing the need to improve the political position and fully understand the importance of the "Four Responsibilities and Coordination" work. Subsequently, she elaborated on the rectification work of our Institute's "Four Responsibilities and Coordination" inspection from three aspects: strengthening the power of rectification, strengthening the power of constraints, and strengthening the power of execution. Finally, she pointed out that the "Four Responsibilities and Coordination" inspection has sounded the alarm for our Institute's enterprise management work, and we should regard it as a very good "physical examination", find the source of the disease, treat it according to the symptoms, remind it in time, and recover in time, so that it can become a "booster" to promote the management of enterprise to a higher level and promote economic development to a higher level.

Through this activity, the staff of the Institute have enhanced their awareness of the law, enriched their knowledge of relevant laws that may be applicable in their work, further recognized the importance of "Four Responsibilities and Coordination" inspection work and other work on Party conduct and clean governance, and effectively improved their awareness of clean self-discipline.
