Around 1 p.m., when the sky was still drizzling with stars, teams had already gathered in the grand hall of the first floor of the Science and Technology Museum. The first event to get underway was the fun-filled table tennis competition. Four people per team, the first player's cautious placement of the ball, the second player's swift back-and-forth, the third player's precise distance control when throwing the ball, and the fourth player's accurate reception of the ball made the entire competition very engaging and immediately sparked everyone's enthusiasm. Several companies that were already established formed teams "on the spot" and signed up to participate. In the drizzling rain, the competitions for shuttlecock relay, darts, and slow cycling on bicycles followed one after another. Due to the increasing rain, and considering safety and other factors, the rope skipping competition was moved indoors to the multi-purpose hall in the auxiliary building. Of course, the grand finale was the spectacular indoor tug-of-war, which brought the atmosphere to a climax. Besides the participating teams, all other on-site personnel became cheerleaders, and the cheers and encouragement echoed in the multi-purpose hall. As one of the employees expressed in WeChat, "Although the weather affected everyone's performance, the joy of participating is far better than the results."
