On the afternoon of May 12, Wu Qiujue, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute Co., Ltd., and his delegation went to Shanghai Biomedical Science and Technology Development Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) for study and exchange. Wu Weihua, Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of the Research and Development Center, and Ren Zhongquan, Party Affairs Cadre of the General Office, accompanied them in the study. Li Jizong, Director of Shanghai Biomedical Science and Technology Development Center, attended the exchange symposium.

At the symposium, the two sides had in-depth exchanges on how to enhance the scientific research strength of the unit and transform scientific research results under the new situation. Li Jizong, director of the center, pointed out that as a unit in the science and technology system, it is necessary to focus on scientific research work, pay close attention to the construction of talent echelons, and use the transformation of scientific research results as a starting point to continuously enhance the core competitiveness of the unit. Wu Qiujue said that through this study and investigation, he had a deep understanding of the construction of functional platforms and the diversity, rationality and innovation of services; the scientific, standardized and effective operation of assets, so that assets can react to the company's main responsibilities and main business (such as laboratory sharing, which can effectively utilize existing equipment, and at the same time share scientific research results, drive scientific research service forces with assets, and support the company's industrial development with science and technology), improve the efficiency of scientific and technological services; good practices and valuable experience in the training, motivation and delivery of scientific researchers. After the company system reform, the Shanghai Institute of Instruments is currently in a critical stage of comprehensively deepening reform and development. It is hoped that through a series of special surveys on thematic education, it will continue to strengthen learning and exchanges with brother units in the science and technology system, learn from good experiences and practices, broaden work ideas for solving key and difficult problems in the reform and development of enterprises, and accelerate the transformation and development of the company.
