On the afternoon of April 11, our institute held an online meeting of middle-level cadres to convey the spirit of the video special meeting on safety production work of the Shanghai Institute of Science and Technology; to understand the epidemic prevention and control work and daily work of various departments (companies) during the period of working from home, and to deploy the next stage of work of the institute. The leadership team, middle-level cadres, party committee members, and party branch secretaries of the institute attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Wu Qiujue, secretary of the party committee of the institute, conveyed the spirit of the video special meeting on safety production work of the Shanghai Institute of Science and Technology and the requirements put forward by President Qin Wenbo for the current epidemic prevention and control work. Each department (company) reported on the current progress of various work and the work plan for the next stage; the secretaries of each party branch reported on the situation of party members of the branch reporting to their communities to participate in epidemic prevention and control work. After listening to the relevant situation report, the leaders of the institute deployed the next stage of epidemic prevention and control, safety production, scientific research business development and other work of the institute.
The meeting required that the current epidemic prevention and control situation in the city is complex and severe, and all employees of the institute should continue to tighten the "safety" string and strictly implement the various work requirements of the institute's epidemic prevention and control and safety production. Middle-level cadres must shoulder their responsibilities and protect the safety of their departments (companies); epidemic prevention and control work and business work must be carried out simultaneously. During the period of working from home, the daily work of each department (company) must be promoted simultaneously to prepare for the restoration of normal working order after the resumption of work and production, and strive to reduce the negative impact of the epidemic on the work of the institute. The majority of party members and cadres must improve their political stance, take the lead in not believing in rumors, not spreading rumors, spreading more positive energy, and doing a good job in guiding public opinion. The group organizations of the institute should do a good job in caring for and comforting employees during special periods, take the initiative to understand the actual difficulties encountered by employees, report to the institute in a timely manner, and provide them with help to the best of their ability.
