On January 16, 2025, the Shanghai Instrument Institute held a performance appraisal meeting for mid-level cadres in 2024 in the multi-function hall of the auxiliary building. Members of the company's leadership team, mid-level cadres, leaders of labor, youth and women's organizations and employee representatives attended the meeting, which was chaired by the company's general manager Teng Huaqiang.

At the meeting, the company's middle-level managers gave performance reports one by one, reported on their performance of duties and integrity in 2024, identified shortcomings in their own work and proposed improvement measures, and put forward work plans for each department in 2025.

After the performance report session, Wu Qiujue, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of the company, gave a summary speech. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the company's middle-level cadres for their achievements and efforts in strengthening, expanding and improving the company's main responsibilities and main business, continuously improving the company's core competitiveness, and striving to achieve leapfrog development over the past year, and put forward hopes for the company's middle-level cadres' work in 2025. First, they should strengthen their responsibility and improve their ability to perform their duties. As the backbone of promoting the company's development, they should comprehensively improve their business and management capabilities; second, they should strengthen communication and coordination, establish a sense of the overall situation, and when facing major tasks and key tasks, all departments should break the "departmental barriers", work together, support each other, and form a joint force between departments; third, they should be brave in innovation and breakthroughs, strengthen their responsibility, overcome the "fear of difficulties" in their work, dare to face difficulties, and actively open up a new situation in their work; fourth, they should focus on team building, accurately convey and implement the company's various decision-making arrangements, unite department employees to devote themselves to the reform and development of the enterprise, and practice corporate culture; fifth, they should strictly abide by discipline and rules, keep the "red line" of integrity, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of state-owned assets.

At the end of the meeting, participants conducted a democratic evaluation of the middle-level cadres who participated in the performance appraisal.
