On the afternoon of January 16, Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute Co., Ltd. held a party member meeting to conduct an evaluation of the company's party committee work in 2024. All party members, party activists, and members of democratic parties attended the meeting.

At the appraisal meeting, Wu Qiujue, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of the company, reviewed and summarized the achievements made by the company's Party Committee in 2024 in taking Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guidance, fully implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, carrying out party discipline study and education, and keeping the "main direction" of ideological construction steady; focusing on the main responsibilities and main business, and building the "main position" of integrated development with the joint construction of party building as the link; strengthening the construction of the "four responsibilities coordination" mechanism, consolidating the "main responsibility" of strict party governance; taking the opportunity of holding a series of activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the institute, refining the excellent culture of the enterprise, and cultivating the "main tone" of cultural inheritance. Regarding the work of the company's Party Committee in 2025, Comrade Wu Qiujue asked all party members of the company to take the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee as the guidance, fully implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implement the deployment requirements of the superior party committee on party building work, closely focus on the goal of high-quality development of the enterprise, adhere to the high-quality party building to lead high-quality development, further improve the quality of grassroots party building work, and promote the reform and development of the enterprise to a new level.
