On the afternoon of July 26th, the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics held a ground-breaking ceremony for the renovation of the fire-fighting facilities in the Institute's administrative building. In attendance were Xie Chen, Deputy Director of the Finance Department of the Institute of Science and Technology, Teng Huaqiang, Director of the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Wu Qiuju, Party Secretary of the Institute, Jia Feng, Deputy Director of the Institute, representatives from relevant functional departments of the Institute of Science and Technology and the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, as well as representatives from the construction company and the construction supervision company.

At the meeting, the leadership team of the previous instrument institute made a specific introduction about the background of the transformation project, and thanked the previous science and technology academy for its strong support for the transformation of the fire-fighting facilities of our institute. At the same time, the requirements of the project party were put forward, requiring that the safety be fully controllable during the transformation project, and the safety disclosure patrol supervision work should be done well. On the basis of ensuring safe production, the project quality should be guaranteed, and effective communication should be maintained with the institute and the previous science and technology academy.

Comrade Xie Chen, Deputy Director of the Finance and Asset Management Department of the Institute of High Energy Physics, has put forward the following requirements for this renovation project: First, safety protection work should be put in the first place, and the on-site supervision and management of the construction process should be strengthened to ensure safety and controllability; Second, it is hoped that the project party and the project supervisor will maintain communication and contact in terms of project progress and quality; Third, according to the contract, the payment procedures for the project funds should be handled as soon as possible.

The person in charge of the construction party's project introduced the specific project content of this renovation project and promised to ensure that the construction safety is guaranteed, the project quality meets the specifications requirements, and a third party with fire inspection qualifications will issue a report after completion.

After the meeting, the engineering supervision and construction parties inspected the construction site environment.
