On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China and the 60th anniversary of the successful explosion of my country's first atomic bomb, the Party Committee of Shanghai Instrument Institute Company carried out a themed party day activity of literary and artistic party classes and organized all party members to watch the premiere of the drama "Nameless City".



   

In the 1950s and 1960s, there was a city covering an area of ​​about four square kilometers in the desert outside Yumen Pass in Gansu, China. This city had no name, only a code name - 404. The story of "Nameless City" is set against the background of the highly confidential and little-known 404 Nuclear City. It tells the touching story of three generations of people in the nuclear city who chose to dedicate their youth and lives to China's nuclear cause in the endless desert Gobi for the benefit of the country.


    By carrying out literary and artistic party classes, the company’s Party Committee further enriched the forms of learning and education for party members, allowing the majority of party members to draw on the great spiritual strength of the predecessors of the 404 Nuclear City who did "earth-shaking things" and became "anonymous people" and selflessly dedicated to my country's nuclear cause. It further strengthened their beliefs, made the company stronger, bigger and better in its main responsibilities and businesses, deeply integrated into the construction of the "1134" scientific and technological innovation system of the Shanghai Academy of Sciences, and forged ahead on the new journey of achieving high-quality development.
