The China Intelligent Instrument Design Competition Organizing Committee and Epson (China) have entered a new era of strategic cooperation

On May 15, 2017, Epson (China) Co., Ltd. and the Organizing Committee of the China Smart Instrument Design Competition signed a multi-party cooperation agreement at the Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute. The signing ceremony was attended by the general manager of Epson China, Cheng Weimin, the manager of the IC Business Division, Zhong Xiaoliang, the director of Shanghai Instrument and Meter Research Institute, Teng Huaqiang, the deputy director, Wu Weihua, and Zhou Yu, the chairman of Shanghai Tang Hui Electronics (Shanghai Hanhe Electronics Technology Co., Ltd.), who all personally witnessed and participated in the signing ceremony.

According to the agreement, Epson will officially become the co-sponsor and co-organizer of the third China Smart Instrument Design Competition. In addition, the two parties also discussed a series of follow-up work, especially in the establishment of a joint laboratory, product application and development, and technology cooperation, and had in-depth consultations. Finally, Epson representatives visited the laboratories of the Shanghai Instrument and Measurement Research Institute.

The organization committee of the China Intelligent Instrument and Instrument Design Competition is composed of the China Instrument and Instrument SocietyEmbedded Instrument and System Technology Branch, the Shanghai Instrument and Instrument Society, the Shanghai Institute of Instrument and Instrument, Shanghai Tonghui Electronics Co., Ltd., Shanghai Hanhe Electronics Technology Co., Ltd., the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Automation of Shanghai University, and other units. The organization committee of the China Intelligent Instrument and Instrument Design Competition takes it as its duty to revitalize the development of the instrument and instrument industry, and its role in promoting the progress of China's instrument and instrument industry should not be underestimated.

Epson (China) Co., Ltd. was established in April 1998, and the main businesses carried out in China include electronic components such as liquid crystal displays, integrated circuits, and quartz crystals; input and output information products such as printers, scanners, and projectors; and system equipment such as POS terminal devices and printer cores.

This signing marks the establishment of a stable strategic cooperative relationship between the two parties, laying a solid foundation for the rapid development of the China Smart Instrument Design Competition.
