According to the "Notice of the Office of the Municipal Work Safety Committee on Carrying Out the 'Work Safety Month' Activity in Shanghai in 2015" and the requirements of the Academy of Science for the activity plan, our institute focused on the theme of the activity and organized a series of activities for the "Work Safety Month". On June 15, 2015, a popular education on emergency plan knowledge and a viewing of work safety warning education films were held in the multi-functional hall of the science and research building. More than thirty people participated in this activity, including the director of the institute, the deputy secretary of the party committee in charge of work safety, some responsible persons from departments (companies), the chairman of the sub-trade union, department safety officers, new employees, and representatives of rental units.

At the meeting, the safety management personnel of the functional departments, based on the actual situation, conducted on-site publicity and explanation of our emergency plans for safe production, flood prevention and typhoon prevention, fire prevention, etc. Through watching safety warning education films and popular education activities, the emergency prevention knowledge and ability of all the staff of the institute have been improved, and the "red line" consciousness and "bottom line" thinking of safe production have been effectively enhanced, and the implementation of safety production responsibilities has been effectively promoted.
