The Sixth Plenary Session of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Electrical Instruments and Meters was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi on October 9, 2023. Teng Huaqiang, General Manager of Shanghai Instruments (Chairman of the Third Committee), Wu Weihua, Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of the R&D Center (Secretary-General of the Third Committee), and four other comrades attended the meeting.

The plenary meeting of the committee in the morning summarized the standardization work of the 6th Standardization Committee and commended the comrades who performed well and made outstanding contributions in the standardization work of this Standardization Committee. Comrade Wu Weihua of Shanghai Instrument and Instrument Co., Ltd. was awarded the honorary title of "Outstanding Contributor to Standardization Work". The election plan of the 7th National Technical Committee for Standardization of Electrical Instruments and Meters was read out at the meeting. Comrade Teng Huaqiang of Shanghai Instrument and Instrument Co., Ltd. was re-elected as a member of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Electrical Instruments and Meters and the Chairman of the Third Sub-Technical Committee of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Electrical Instruments and Meters, and Comrade Wu Weihua was re-elected as the Secretary-General of the Third Sub-Technical Committee of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Electrical Instruments and Meters.

 

At the meeting of the Third Committee held in the afternoon, Secretary-General Wu Weihua made a summary report on the work of the Sixth Third Committee, and the participating members discussed the preliminary review and revision of relevant national standards. The members had a heated discussion and actively made suggestions on how to better carry out the work of the Third Committee in the next stage. Teng Huaqiang, Chairman of the Third Committee, made a summary speech at the meeting, affirmed the work results of the Sixth Third Committee, and expressed hope for the work of the new Third Committee. The meeting also commended the members who have made outstanding achievements in the work of the Third Committee recently.
