On the afternoon of September 28, Vice President Cao Amin of the Shanghai Academy of Sciences led a team, including Director Wang Lei of the Administrative Security Department of the Academy, to conduct a safety inspection at our Songjiang base before the National Day holiday. Members of our leadership team, relevant comrades from the Institute's Property Safety Management Department, the person in charge of the construction of the Songjiang base, and the property manager of the base park accompanied the inspection.
After listening to the report on the construction of our base building, the inspection team of the Shanghai Academy of Sciences immediately entered the construction site to inspect the construction safety and fire safety of the project.
After the on-site inspection, the Administrative Security Department of the Academy gave feedback to our institute, the base construction party, and the park property management party, and put forward supervision and inspection opinions.
Vice President Cao Amin pointed out in the inspection that safety in production is the unity of safety and production, safety promotes production, and production must be safe. Whether safety work is done well depends on the improvement and implementation of the safety production management system. During the National Day holiday, the Shanghai Institute of Instruments should implement the work of investigating and managing safety hazards, tighten the string of epidemic prevention and control, and strengthen risk awareness and sense of responsibility. He emphasized that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is about to be held, and the Shanghai Institute of Instruments must pay close attention to production safety and epidemic prevention and control work, and must ensure zero accidents in production safety and epidemic prevention and control work, and that production safety and construction are carried out in an orderly manner.
In the next step, the Shanghai Institute of Instruments will carry out subsequent related rectification work based on the feedback from this safety inspection, further investigate and rectify various risks and hidden dangers, and resolutely prevent all kinds of accidents.
