Being a good assistant to the "alley prime minister"——Xie Yimin, a member of the front-line anti-epidemic team of the Shangyi Institute, supported the work of Pingwang Residential Committee in Huangpu District

Pingwang Residential Committee in Huangpu District is under the jurisdiction of Nanjing East Road Subdistrict, with more than 3,000 residents. A considerable number of residents in this area live in the winding old lanes and old buildings. The residents here have relatively warm relations with their neighbors, and have retained a lot of "smoke and fire" in life. However, due to the shared kitchen and the lack of independent sanitary facilities for each household, the epidemic prevention and control work of Pingwang Residential Committee has become more "heavy" in this round of epidemic.

However, due to the shared kitchen and the lack of independent sanitary facilities for each household, the epidemic prevention and control work of Pingwang Residential Committee has become more "heavy" in this round of epidemic.

Unexpectedly, on May 4 this year, at this great historical moment of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the League, as a young party member and league cadre of the Shanghai Instrument Institute, and as a member of the front-line anti-epidemic team of the Shanghai Instrument Institute, I immediately accepted the call of the organization and joined the city's science and technology system anti-epidemic vanguard commando, spending the most unforgettable "May 4th" Youth Day in the most special way. From May 5, I and four team members went to Pingwang Residential Committee under the leadership of the temporary branch of the commando to support the anti-epidemic work and contribute my own strength to winning the key battle of "breaking through the key points" of the Huangpu epidemic.

The following are my small insights from the past two weeks of work. I want to record what may be the most special, unforgettable and meaningful experience in my life.

Be a good "planner"

Nucleic acid testing is an important part of epidemic prevention and control work. Most residents of Pingwang Community live in old lanes and buildings along the street. Therefore, there is a lack of wide public areas where residents live, which makes it difficult for people to maintain a safe distance and accept tests in an orderly manner during nucleic acid testing. Together with my team members, we have worked together to plan the flow of personnel and entry and exit plans for nucleic acid testing points based on the actual conditions of each nucleic acid testing point, such as the terrain and residential distribution of residents; and continuously optimized the nucleic acid testing work plan for the points by setting two-meter line signs, placing temporary isolation fences, and improving the "shouting" sequence. Under limited conditions, we have tried our best to ensure that there is no crowd gathering or hedging during the test, and reduce the risk of cross-infection between residents due to nucleic acid testing.

Through our joint efforts, at Lane 267, Beihai Road, a secondary old residential community with nearly 300 residents, the team members can complete about 120 nucleic acid tests per hour, effectively cooperating with the medical support team to complete the nucleic acid testing task of the site on time every day. Seeing that the testing order at the site is becoming more and more orderly and the testing efficiency is getting higher and higher every day, our team is proud of the achievement of "building a temple in a snail shell".
Be patient and meticulous and be a good "statistician"
There are a large number of migrant population and mobile personnel among the residents of Pingwang Residential Committee. It is not easy to do a good job in population statistics of various residential communities and buildings. However, it is a basic work to find out the situation of each household to achieve the "four responses and four efforts" work requirements of epidemic prevention and control and accurately distribute daily necessities to each household. Faced with difficulties, my team members and I rose to the challenge. Based on the preliminary work of the Residential Committee and other support teams, we gradually improved the "one household, one file" list through comparison with daily nucleic acid test participants, telephone contact, on-site surveys, etc., and did a good job of dynamic updating.
