The Shanghai Institute of Instrument and Control Technology held a "Looking Back on the Reform Journey, Looking Forward to a Beautiful Future" history education and symposium. Over the past five decades, the institute has gone through wind and rain, and half a century of passing the torch.

The Shanghai Institute of Instrument and Control Technology held a "Looking Back on the Reform Journey, Looking Forward to a Beautiful Future" history education and symposium. Over the past five decades, the institute has gone through wind and rain, and half a century of passing the torch. To strengthen the awareness and understanding of the institute's development history among the youth and new employees, and to carry forward the spirit of struggle of the older generation of scientists and engineers, the institute invited the former director, Comrade Yang Lingdi, to give a report on the institute's history on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its establishment. At the meeting, Director Yang reviewed the institute's 50-year journey of entrepreneurship and innovation with the hardships of her personal experience, and she passionately recounted the tortuous path of reform and development since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Party. She urged the youth to cherish their youth and opportunities, to combine their ideals and aspirations with the development of the institute, to contribute their wisdom to the innovation-driven transformation and development, and to reflect their personal value. The youth members listened carefully, took notes seriously, and raised questions about the difficulties encountered in their actual work and the problems encountered in their career development for discussion with the old director. The symposium deepened the youth's understanding and knowledge of the institute's 50-year development, and promoted the career development of young scientific and technological personnel.
