The Party Committee of the Shangyi Institute awarded commemorative medals to veterans who participated in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea

On October 26, 2020, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers' participation in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the Party Secretary of our institute, Wu Qiuju, and others, made a special visit to the home of Lu Duanzhang, a retired cadre who had participated in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, to express their concern. On behalf of the superior Party organization, they presented him with the Medal of the 70th Anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers' Participation in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission, and also presented him with flowers. Party Secretary Wu Qiuju said, "Thank you for your contribution to the country by going to Korea to participate in the war. The people will not forget, history will not forget, and we pay tribute to you!" Watching the movie "Eight Hundred" and visiting the Shanghai Revolutionary History Museum - a series of party day activities on the theme of "Four Histories" learning and education at the Shanghai Institute of Instruments

The Party Committee of Shanghai Institute of Instrument and Meter has planned and organized this year for all the Party members in the Institute to carry out the "Four Histories" learning and education - the Red Footprint monthly visit activities, which plan to make full use of Shanghai's rich red resources from July to October (i.e., from the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China to the 71st anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China). The activities will visit memorial venues and revolutionary sites to carry out on-site visits, understand the relevant history, and through the on-site visit learning and education method once a month, feel the past glorious years of the pioneers and deeply understand the rich connotation of the "Four Histories".

On September 10th, in order to thoroughly implement the important speech spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the important deployment of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee on carrying out the study and education of the history of the Party, the history of New China, the history of reform and opening up, and the history of the development of socialism, according to the work arrangement, Comrade Yuan Guoxiang, the vice president of Shanghai Academy of Science and member of the Party Committee, went to the contact point of Instrument Institute to give a special party class on the study and education of the "Four Histories". Shangyi Law Firm held a lecture on popularizing the Civil Code

In order to further enhance the awareness of the rule of law among the staff and cadres of the Shanghai Institute of Instrument and Meter, and to promote the staff and cadres to learn the law, understand the law, abide by the law, and use the law, a legal knowledge lecture on the newly enacted "Civil Code of the People's Republic of China" and the rights and responsibilities of employees was held in the multi-functional lecture hall of the Institute on the afternoon of July 30th. This lecture was specially invited by the legal consultant of the Institute, Lawyer Xiao Min, and all the staff and cadres participated.
